September 26th: St. Jean de Brebeuf Day!

On Monday, September 26th, we will be celebrating the Feast of St. Jean de Brebeuf as a school community!

The Grade 12 Leadership classes are busy planning a spirit-filled day that includes the following:

  • Spirit Day – students may wear any SJdB top/spirit wear with uniform pants and solid black shoes
  • grade-level pep rallies
  • co-curricular activities fair
  • Terry Fox-related activities
  • after school soccer games that students can watch

Our Chaplaincy and Peer Ministry teams have also been hard at working planning our first school mass, which will take place at St. Clare of Assisi Church at 12:45pm. The entire school community will be walking to and from Church. We are so grateful for this opportunity and thank Monsignor John and Father Andre!

Part of the day’s activities includes awareness-raising and support for the Terry Fox Foundation. The walk to and from the church will be our school’s participation in the Walk to Fight Cancer. If you would like to make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation, please click HERE.

Note: As this is a regular school day, attendance will be taken in each period and students are expected to attend their classes per usual. To accomodate all of the wonderful activities, the schedule will be modified slightly. We will however, begin at 8:20am and conclude the day back at school by 2:20pm.

Thank you.
