During the course selection process that was begun in February, we requested a Student Activity Fee. Parents and Guardians were provided with a breakdown of what those funds are used for. If you have not yet paid the Student Activity Fee, there is still an opportunity to do and your support of our school would be greatly appreciated. If you are not certain of whether or not you paid the Student Activity Fee for your child(ren), you are welcome to contact the school and speak with our Bursar, Ms. D’Ascanio
As a point of clarification, especially for students in Grade 9. Last year, when our Grade 9 students were in Grade 8, there were asked to pay a Student Activity Fee PLUS a full retreat fee. This was a previous practice that is no longer in place, which is why you were provided a revised Student Activity Fee breakdown. That said, we have a full account of those Grade 9 students who paid the full retreat fee and they will not asked to pay again. The revised fee breakdown shows a minimal retreat cost that allows us to put a downpayment and secure speakers and venues. The rest of the retreat cost will be communicated to students and parents/guardians and an appropriate time.
Again, that you for your support of our school community. By September 30th, we will have a better idea of how we can plan for the various events and items indicated in my previous communication.
Note: Payment of the Student Activity Fee is voluntary.
